About Yang Mooi Beef Noodles

Let me introduce you to Yang Mooi Beef Noodles, a cozy Chinese noodle spot that quietly anchors the Pandan Indah food scene and keeps locals coming back for honest, comforting bowls. Tucked at 5G, Jalan Perubatan 4, Pandan Indah, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malaysia, this place feels like the kind of neighborhood restaurant you discover once and then recommend to everyone. The vibe is relaxed and no-frills, focused on what matters most: noodles done right. When you step in, you’ll notice the steady rhythm of orders moving from kitchen to table, with the aroma of simmering broth setting the tone. Yang Mooi Beef Noodles is especially known for its beef noodles, where springy noodles meet tender cuts of beef in a broth that tastes patiently brewed rather than rushed. It’s the sort of bowl that works equally well as a quick bite between errands or a slow, satisfying meal with friends. For those who prefer flexibility, the restaurant offers both dine-in and takeaway options, which makes it easy to enjoy the food your way without overthinking it. Pairing your noodles with a simple coffee feels natural here, especially if you’re dropping by during a busy day and want something warm and grounding. What I like most about Yang Mooi Beef Noodles is how straightforward everything feels, from the menu to the service, creating an experience that’s approachable and dependable. It doesn’t try to be trendy or complicated, and that confidence shows in every bowl served, making it a solid go-to for anyone craving classic Chinese noodle flavors in Kuala Lumpur. Because the menu stays focused, ordering feels easy even for first-timers, and you can quickly zero in on what suits your mood. Portions are filling without being heavy, which helps explain why office workers, families, and solo diners all seem equally at home. If you enjoy dependable flavors and a welcoming, everyday atmosphere, this spot naturally fits into a regular food rotation.

2 kinds of the original beef noodles! The stewed beef with radish or the slices /mixed. The stew sauce was flavorfully awesome. Get a bowl of the sliced beer or mixed and add a bowl of beef radish stew as an extra for the best of both worlds… Drinks are pretty good too. It’s old so forget atmosphere and even with the Aircond it’s warm… so just eat and enjoy the food and head next door for an icy dessert.

KL style beef noodle, similar to Petaling St, OUG & Seapark. Quite high spirited to try this version. Dry noodle springy well done, with added dark soy sauce, little minced meat that present to be less richness vs elsewhere. Soup savoury & tasty beef ball good bite size. Beef is marinated till soft, spongy but less beefy. Beef stew parts given are generous, cooked to soft perfection & tasty. Stew taste a tad sweet. Chili sauce is excellent, like others. Overall slight different from other places. Strength of its own. Worth trying.

Very good quality beef noodles done in the traditional style of Soong Kee in KL Chinatown. The meats were tender and soup aromatic. The price was also very reasonable. The parking areas around the shop are privately owned so be careful not to pay by TNG or the various parking Apps.

Was introduced by my friend to try this place, and I came here with absolutely no regrets! Just the taste I was looking for to satisfy my craving for a good bowl of beef noodles! I tried the dry beef noodles (Lai Fun). The beef was very tender, and the lai fun noodles were cooked to perfection, coupled with some minced beef meat on top. However, the next time I come I would order big though as the portion of the noodles was on the smaller side. The beef traps was a star for me, as it not only is tasty, it also comes with a smoky aroma which was a plus point! I never had any beef traps with this taste, it was truly aromatic and delicious! Highly recommend for those who crave for beef noodles!

Been having their beef noodles for over 3 decades, from their humble hawker stall at Peel Road till they spin off to few restaurants around KL Valley. I still coming back to them and this stall they serve the best radish.

Had beef noodles at Restoran Yang Mooi and wow… so good! The beef tendon was perfectly soft, and the radish absorbed all the flavour. Really worth trying
